Feuilles Noires

This print as created as part of a multidisciplinary performance involving, live improvised music, spoken word, fabric art and scent.
 
It represents the loss of information of our native cultures, of our native peoples through the impact and brutality of colonisation. In a way it represents suppression of all kinds both personal and cultural.
 
Feuilles Noires or Dark Matter is about finding a way out of our personal and collective past and finding ways to be healed from those past traumas, to get beyond survival.
